In this year the Dr. Hermann Büttner piano contest has been carried out as contest for trio with piano.
Prizes have been awarded to three trios. A sponsoring award of 1.800 € has been awarded to the trio comprising Olivier Girardin (flute), Sofia Ogas (violoncello) and Yejin Ahn (piano). A second prize with an amount of 3.000 € hast been awarded to the “0. Limits Trio” comprising Hua Shao (violin), Wei-Luen Lee (violoncello) and Mingjie Guo (piano).
The first prize of 6.000 € has been achieved by the “Trio May” of Yoerae Kim (violin), Andreas Schmalhofer (violoncello) and Mihjeok Gwon (piano).
The laureates have perormed at the laureates’ concert on the November 7, 2019, at 19.30, in the Velte-Saal.
